Very personable and uncomplicated service. Dishes precise, super product quality and cooked to the point. Corresponding wines perfectly selected. We felt completely at ease.
Really very good cuisine with room for improvement. The terrace is a dream, the distances between the tables are very pleasant! Only the white wine MUST be colder. Always my pleasure
Catastrophe! It took 3 hours to get the food. The basement's volatile response to a complaint. Food was OK.
Never have I ever written a review on the internet! But in the restaurant 1718 we had such a great evening that I want to share our wonderful experiences. The food is absolutely top notch. Fortunately, as recommended by the extremely charming maitre, we opted for the 4-course surprise menu. Simply top class. The wine accompaniment from Mr Else (sorry for any spelling) was sensational, especially the brut Reserve for the main course was simply great. Service on the whole was very friendly and accommodating. We will come back in any case!
You sit beautifully in the park, the menu is very appealing and the service friendly. First I had a leaf salad (totally delicious, but the portion could have been a bit bigger, I would have liked to have paid more for that :-)) and then cod and finally the best creme brulee I have ever eaten. The wine selection is very good. Only the service could be a little more attentive and refill more often (then we would have had two bottles of wine).
You sit very idyllically in the well-kept park, the service is very hard (but could be a little bit faster :-)). The kitchen is excellent. First I had an asparagus salad with a very tasty dressing, then beef fillet with foie gras (perfectly prepared). The creme brulee is also highly recommended. There is also a very nice wine selection. One of my favorite restaurants in Deidesheim.
French-style menu, very good wine selection. I had a very tasty spinach salad first, then turbot with salsify and veal jus. Both were prepared excellently and the basic products were top quality. The crème brûlée afterwards was brilliant, the best I've ever had outside of France. The service was good, but could be a little more relaxed.
Very attractive menu, excellent quality of the dishes (I would not have expected it, the prices are moderate) and good wine list. The restaurant is nice and modern. The only thing I didn't like very much: It was a little bit too cold, but that's how it is sometimes in historical buildings (it moves).
Nice service, excellent food and nice atmosphere
Fine dining. We were so pleasantly surprised. Delicious appetizer (fish sandwich, great), great risotto, terrific dessert. Nice service
We were with our friends from Hamburg at the food, even those were overwhelmed. Here simply fits the overall concept.
Unfortunately, the risotto was more of a rice soup. The rice too firm and not creamy. There was no redress on complaint. Unfortunately, the young nice service left something alone. Risotto was fully charged. Appetizers oktopus and boullabaise were good, not exceptional. Second appetizer ravioli bathed in similar liquid as risotto. Wine prices for basic wines of the top vineyard, which are around the corner with a factor of 4 too high. The next evening in Riva from the same investor and had a pleasant contrast experience, the wines are cheaper, although the same wineries are presented.
Again, we let ourselves go really well. Service is great. The food for the quality very reasonably priced and of course the Deidesheimer top wines. So an evening can be a pleasure.
A nice addition to the other Deidesheimer restaurants. We recommend the goose liver terrine and the homemade bouillabaisse, which can also be bought locally for home use. If you can not get enough of the wine list, you can go back to the restaurant L.A. Jordan.
Is great there and not at all as expensive as it looks at first glance.
We were there for my birthday. Great location. The food with the recommended wines was in short "perfect". Hey and the prices are absolutely modest.
Great food, french style and lots of fish. Friendly service. Good wine list. Beautiful garden - what more could you want?
At 7 p.m. we had reserved a table and were on time. At 7.10 p.m. we were still standing at the reception, none of the staff could be seen anywhere. In the meantime we were 3 couples and waited until a guest knocked on the kitchen to indicate our presence. Of course, that wasn't a tailor-made start. The service itself was nice and the food was good but not outstanding, if you look back at the price and the service provided.
The Ketschauerhof is a place to relax and unwind. The food and wines are the finest.
Blue Monday. An absolute recommendation. You can sit beautifully in the garden on the sun loungers and drink a very good Riesling sparkling wine
Very very very slow! 3 hours for lunch.
